Wireless optical communication is a means of communication that uses laser as a carrier to transmit information. At present, the development trend and potential of wireless optical communication technology have drawn great attention from all countries due to their characteristics of good monochromaticity, strong directivity, concentrated optical power, eavesdropping, low cost and quick installation. The article mainly analyzes the development of wireless optical communication and its application.
