油田变配电所是电力系统的核心组成部分,是保障化工生产的重要神经中枢,做好防雷接地工作意义非常重大。雷电对于电力设施、电气设备及人身安全等方面具有很强的破坏力。雷电如果击中油田变配电所,轻则烧坏绝缘子断路器跳闸,重则击毁电气设备引起火灾和爆炸造成重大经济损失。避雷器的主要作用是用来防止雷电波浸入,避雷器与被保护装置并联,当线路上出现雷电波过电压时,通过避雷器对地放电,避免出现电压冲击波。因此对变电所加强防雷接地措施,不但可以减少雷击事故的发生,还可以防止被保护设备的绝缘损坏和保证人身安全,保障电力系统持续可靠地给化工装置区供电。
