裁判工作对办好田径竞赛、促进田径运动的发展和田径运动技术水平的提高，起着重要的作用．只有加强对田径运动竞赛裁判员的心理管理，树立起崇高的裁判动机，才能使其一丝不苟地贯彻裁判原则，秉公执法，积极主动地执行裁判工作，使比赛顺利圆满地进行．
The referee’s work plays an important role in running a track and field competition, promoting the development of track and field and raising the technical level of track and field. Only by strengthening the psychological management of track and field athletics referees and establishing lofty referee motivation will they be able to meticulously implement the principle of referees, enforce the law impartially and take the initiative to implement the referees so that the games can be conducted successfully and satisfactorily.
