The author visited Vietnam three times to visit folk engraving. For the first time, in February 1998, they participated in the “Conservation Project of East Asian Paper” funded by the International Exchange Fund under the name of Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The second was appointed by the UNESCO East Asian Cultural Studies Center in March 2001, accompanied by Pan Yuanshi, curator of Taiwan’s Chi Mei Museum. The third time was in October 2001, as a member of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Civilization of East Asia, and then visited Vietnam to study folk lithographs. Of course, with only three visits, far can not grasp the full picture of Vietnamese folk prints. There are still many unresolved problems that can not be solved yet for further study, but it is a pity that they will not be given any chance later.
