黎家营锰矿是陕西省最早探明的一个中型锰矿.矿床位于南秦岭东西向巨型复杂构造带和龙门山北东向复杂构造带的斜接部位.区内出露的震旦系勉略群地层有以下特点: 1.地层两分性明显.中上震旦系断头崖组为一套碳酸岩、碎屑岩、砾岩沉积,为一完整的沉积旋回.内含磷矿和锰矿.变质轻微.以不含火山岩为特征.厚1000~2000米.中下震旦系郭家沟组为一套由海底火山岩间陆源碎屑沉积岩和钙镁质碳酸岩组成的火山沉积岩.见多期多种岩浆活动,产多种矿产,黎家营锰矿产于其中.岩石变质稍深.厚7000~10000米. 这两组地层系交角不整合接触.该不整合面
