目的:探讨增殖细胞核抗原(proliferating cell nuclear antigen,PCNA)及细胞外基质金属蛋白酶诱导因子(extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer,EMMPRIN)在食管鳞状细胞癌组织中的表达及其临床意义。方法:采用免疫组织化学法检测PCNA和EMMPRIN在食管鳞癌组织和正常食管上皮组织中的表达水平,并结合临床病理资料进行统计学分析。结果:PCNA在食管鳞癌组织及癌旁正常组织中的表达率分别为61.25%和23.75%,EMMPRIN蛋白在食管鳞癌组织和癌旁正常组织中的表达率分别为57.5%和25.0%,差异均具有统计学意义(P=0.000)。PCNA和EMMPRIN蛋白的表达与食管鳞癌浸润深度、淋巴结转移、TNM分期、分化程度及患者生存时间有显著相关性(P<0.05)。PCNA和EMMPRIN高表达的食管鳞癌患者预后较差。结论:PCNA和EMMPRIN蛋白的表达与食管鳞癌的临床病理学特征密切相关,在食管鳞癌的发生、发展和淋巴结转移中发挥了一定的作用。
Objective: To investigate the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer (EMMPRIN) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and its clinical significance. Methods: The expressions of PCNA and EMMPRIN in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and normal esophageal epithelium were detected by immunohistochemistry, and analyzed with clinicopathological data. Results: The expression rates of PCNA in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues and adjacent normal tissues were 61.25% and 23.75%, respectively. The expression rates of EMMPRIN protein in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma tissues and adjacent normal tissues were 57.5% and 25.0%, respectively All were statistically significant (P = 0.000). The expressions of PCNA and EMMPRIN protein were significantly correlated with the depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, TNM stage, differentiation and patient survival time (P <0.05). Patients with high expression of PCNA and EMMPRIN have poor prognosis. Conclusion: The expressions of PCNA and EMMPRIN protein are closely related to the clinicopathological features of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and play a role in the occurrence, development and lymph node metastasis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
