This article explored the effect of oxygen on the expression of neuroglobin (NGB) in rabbits at high altitude in order to make the measures to prevent and treat plateau retinal diseases. A total of 30 rabbits with 2-month-old Beijing blue-violet blue rabbits were chosen to be clean grade without any limitation. The body weight (2.3 ~ 2.7) kg, mean (2.5 ± 0.3) kg. They were transported to an altitude of 3840m plateau, were randomly divided into oxygen inhalation group (experimental group) and non-oxygen group
