通过对52所iSchool学院网站调查,将iSchool学生科研训练的形式归纳为研究方法类课程、科研研讨会、支持学生科研的项目、学术会议、参与导师科研项目、科研活动或比赛。以威斯康星大学密尔沃基分校信息学院为例,总结出iSchool学生科研训练模式是科研基本知识学习、科研能力训练、科研实践、科研资源支持4个环节的有机结合,具有循序渐进、互相渗透的特点。建议对iSchool的学习应统筹各个环节,注意次序性,并根据学生的培养层次提供有针对性的科研训练。
Through a survey of 52 iSchool College Web sites, iSchool students’ research training can be summarized as research methodologies, research seminars, projects supporting student research, academic conferences, participating in mentoring programs, research activities or competitions. Taking the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Information as an example, it is concluded that iSchool students’ research training mode is an organic combination of basic knowledge of scientific research, scientific research ability training, scientific research practice, and scientific research resources support, with gradual and mutual penetration. It is suggested that all aspects of iSchool’s learning should be co-ordinated, attention should be paid to the orderliness, and targeted research training should be provided according to the students’ training level.
