根据我省高寒、生长期短的自然特点,我们从1976年开始,在大通县下丰积大队、鲍二大队和西宁市湟水林场进行了油松营养(缶本)塑料薄膜大棚育苗试验。实践证明,塑料薄膜大棚育苗不仅能促进苗木快速生长、缩短育苗周期,而且还是培育壮苗、提高造林质量的有效途径。塑料薄膜大棚培育的苗木,一般1年生苗高生长比同令露地苗大1—2倍;根、径生长大1倍左右。现将试验情况简介如下: 一、大棚的建造与管理1.大棚地址的选择与建造:选在靠近造林地、避风、向阳、地势平坦、有灌溉条件的地方,其走向以东西长,南北宽较为适宜。2.大棚的建造:我们采用的是北方地区蔬菜生产上常用的拱元形,木、竹结构的大棚,薄膜是耐老化的农用聚氯乙烯薄膜(见图1)。
