本文以四川某普通中学97名高中三年级学生为研究对象,从词汇的接受性和产出性两个角度探讨高中生英语高频词汇习得情况。研究结果显示:1)在总体为2,000的高频词族中,高三学生的接受性词汇量为1,516个,产出性词汇量为890个。2)不同性别学生的高频词汇量差异显著,女生词汇水平高于男生。3)高中生的高频词汇量与英语考试成绩呈显著正相关。本文接下来对产出性词汇量低的原因进行了分析,研究结论对二语词汇教学具有重要指导意义。
In this paper, 97 high school third graders in an ordinary middle school in Sichuan Province are taken as research objects, and the acquisition of English high frequency vocabulary from senior high school students is discussed from the perspective of acceptability and output of vocabulary. The results show that: 1) In the high-frequency phrase family of 2,000, senior high school students have 1,516 receptive vocabularies and 890 productive vocabularies. 2) There is significant difference in high-frequency vocabulary among different sexes, and the vocabulary level of girls is higher than that of boys. 3) The high frequency vocabulary of high school students has a significant positive correlation with the English test scores. In the following, the reasons for the low output of vocabulary are analyzed. The conclusion of the study is of great guiding significance to the second language teaching.
