本文基于断裂力学的实验结果和理论,结合地震资料及其研究结果提出了关于地震断层扩展的一种新的模式——地震断裂扩展的曲面模式;并用数值的方法计算了在二维情况下地震断层沿曲面(线)扩展的途径。根据这类地震的特点,指出对于这种地震可由其总体破裂的方向确定其发震地区的最大构造主压应力方向。并对唐山等地震实例提出了解释。 在计算方法上,本文对流行的有限单元方法进行了改进,使存贮减少,并提高了计算速度。
Based on the experimental results and theories of fracture mechanics and based on the seismic data and the results of the study, a new model of seismic fault propagation is proposed based on the experimental results and theories of fracture mechanics. The numerical method is also used to calculate the earthquakes in two dimensions The way the fault extends along the surface (line). According to the characteristics of such earthquakes, it is pointed out that the direction of the general rupture of such earthquakes can be used to determine the direction of the maximum tectonic compressive stress in the seismogenic area. Some examples of earthquakes such as Tangshan are also given. In the calculation method, this paper improves the popular finite element method to reduce the storage and increase the calculation speed.
