以河南省原阳县韩董庄引水渠以西7.1km堤河作为引黄淤滩试验区,首先进行了来水来沙分析、渠首闸分沙比估计、堤南干渠输沙能力分析、放淤引水量估算、退水条件分析,以及退水区泥沙落淤量估算.在以上分析结果的基础上,按照便于管理运用、尽量利用现有水利工程、退水不影响排涝等原则,确定放淤方案为:将季庄支渠扩大到流量15m3/s,单口门放淤.工程实施后可获得:改良土壤、增加耕地面积、减轻渠道淤积、确保黄河大堤安全、扩大灌溉面积等效益
