Contextual Elements and Their Use in Chemistry Teaching The “context” can be defined as “the sum of the various details that people have to act upon.” Understanding a person’s situation involves not only considering all the facts and factors associated with one’s position, but also the situation from the perspective of the existence of the other person. The general educational situation arises through the educator’s intention, through the way children attach themselves to education, through the way educators belong to children.
