This essay tries to understand deeply the content and significance of his poetics thought through his reading of Agang Ben’s related works. Around the relationship between sound and silence, meaning and meaning, symbols and semantics, language and speech, Agmon developed a unique poetic thought not only closely related to literature, linguistics and aesthetics, but also Closely linked with political philosophy, ethics and theology. Taking Celan’s poetry as an example, we can see that the core of Agangan’s poetic thought lies in the fact that language must first make itself a non-verbal, a kind of silence and a death experience, so as to convey its own true intention - To witness for life.
