我国新生代火山岩及次火山岩在空间分布上在东部地区出露面积较大,西部地区地表已知也有零星分布,新生代火山岩出露总面积达10万平方公里。有趣的是,新生代火山岩受断裂带控制明显,空间上具有“体、群、带”的分布特征。新生代火山岩的产状以陆相喷发形成的火山锥、熔岩被为主,岩石类型以玄武岩、橄榄玄武岩为主,其次见有次火山岩辉绿岩及辉绿玢岩等。新生代火山岩在时间分布上具有多期、多次活动特征。主要活动在新生代第三纪晚期和第四纪早期,其它时期活动较少。目前我国新生代火山岩带有江苏的盱眙—六合火山岩带、安峰山—平明山火山岩带、江宁—无锡火山岩带等。已知有新生代门鹿河火山岩群、科洛火山岩群、五大连池火山岩群、二克山火山岩群、嘎丛火山岩群、
The Cenozoic volcanic rocks and sub-volcanic rocks in China show a large area of spatial distribution in the eastern area. There are also sporadic distributions of the surface in the western area. The Cenozoic volcanic rocks have a total area of 100,000 square kilometers. Interestingly, the Cenozoic volcanic rocks are well controlled by the fault zone and have the spatial distribution of “body, group and band”. The Cenozoic volcanic rocks are dominated by volcanic cones and lava formed by continental eruptions. The rocks are mainly basalt and olivine basalts, followed by volcanic diabase and diabase plutons. The Cenozoic volcanic rocks have multi-period and multi-period features in time distribution. The main activities in the late Cenozoic and early Quaternary Cenozoic, less active in other periods. At present, the Cenozoic volcanic rocks in China include the Qionglai-Liuhe volcanic belt in Jiangsu Province, the Anfengshan-Pingmingshan volcanic belt, the Jiangning-Wuxi volcanic belt and so on.
