目的探讨E-cadherin、α-catenin和γ-catenin在宫颈鳞癌中的表达特点及与宫颈鳞癌生物学行为的关系。方法选取活检病例中已诊断为宫颈鳞癌,且资料完整的60例标本(2006-2008年),采用SABC免疫组织化学方法,检测60例宫颈鳞癌组织以及正常宫颈黏膜E-cadherin、α-catenin和γ-catenin的表达情况。结果E-cadherin和α-catenin在宫颈鳞癌中的表达与病理分化程度和肿瘤浸润深度密切相关,且二者在宫颈鳞癌中的表达呈正相关。γ-catenin在宫颈鳞癌中异常表达在细胞浆和细胞核。结论E-cadherin、α-catenin和γ-catenin在宫颈鳞癌的发生以及侵袭、转移中发挥着重要作用,E-cadherin、α-catenin可能协同抑制肿瘤的转移和侵袭,而γ-catenin的异常表达可能成为宫颈鳞癌临床诊断和判断生物学行为的有效指标。
Objective To investigate the expression of E-cadherin, α-catenin and γ-catenin in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and their relationship with the biological behavior of cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Methods Sixty specimens of cervical squamous cell carcinoma which were diagnosed as cervical squamous cell carcinoma were collected and biopsied from 2006 to 2008. SABC immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of E-cadherin, α- catenin and γ-catenin expression. Results The expression of E-cadherin and α-catenin in cervical squamous cell carcinoma was closely related to the degree of pathological differentiation and the depth of tumor invasion, and the expression of E-cadherin and α-catenin in cervical squamous cell carcinoma was positively correlated. γ-catenin is abnormally expressed in cytoplasm and nucleus in cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Conclusions E-cadherin, α-catenin and γ-catenin play an important role in the carcinogenesis, invasion and metastasis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma. E-cadherin and α-catenin may synergistically inhibit tumor metastasis and invasion, while γ-catenin abnormalities Expression may become an effective indicator of clinical diagnosis and biological behavior of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.
