In order to understand the demand and utilization status of medical services for retired cadres in Xinjiang Military Region and to discuss how to improve the health care measures for retired cadres, we conducted a survey on health services for retired cadres in Xinjiang Military Region in 1996. 1 Subjects and Methods A survey of male retired cadres in 16 cadres in 9 cities in the Xinjiang Military Region was conducted with a random sample of 550 people.
