英语谚语形象生动,寓意深刻,对促进中学英语教学具有重要的意义。本文通过阐述谚语对学生了解文化和习得语言的价值,提出英语教学中应选择运用谚语进行词汇、语法教学,渗透文化背景以及实现单元道德目标引导等运用路径。
The vivid and implied meaning of English proverbs is of great significance to the promotion of English teaching in middle schools. This essay expounds the value of proverbs on students’ understanding of culture and acquired language, and suggests that proverbs should be used in English teaching to carry out vocabulary and grammar teaching, to infiltrate the cultural background and to guide the use of unit moral goals.
