《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》指出,要“遵循教育规律和人才成长规律,推进大中小学教育有机衔接,推进培养模式多样化,满足不同潜质学生的发展需要”。育英学校是九年一贯制、十二年一体的学校。这是学校的特色,开展小初高一体化课程建设与育人模式的改革实验具有得天独厚的优势。2012年3月,学校召开了“育英学校十二年一贯制课程建设与育人模式”研讨会,明确了学校课程建设的发展方向;2013年国家教育科学规划
