一、学生分析
本节课的授课对象为五年级的学生,他们具有一定的抽象思维能力,能基于一定的能引导透过现象看到事物的本质,能掌握一定的定义性概念,但是在学习中仍需要具体经验的支持。
学生学习本课之前,学生已经学习了I will do sth句型。同时,学生已具备一些听、说、读、写的基本技能,能围绕“节日活动要做什么事情”这一话题,口头表述并写出简单句子。
二、本课时的教学内容分析
本课时的内容是围绕 “节日活动”这个主题,运用sb will do sth 句型进行教学。本课时具体的教学内容是关于Easter party和 birthday party,以电子邮件传递信息的形式讨论节日活动安排。
本课时的内容以“制作生日聚会请柬”这一任务,把过生日的相关词汇有机地连接在一起。教师鼓励学生综合运用所学语言表达自己的想法和和制定活动计划。
(一)本课时的教学重点
围绕Easter,学习相关词汇和句型sb will do sth.
能围绕本课时的重点句型sb will do sth制作生日聚会请柬。
(二)本课时的教学难点
能围绕“制定生日聚会请柬”这一主题,连续性地描述自己的活动安排。
由制定生日聚会请柬拓展到制定其它请柬。
(三)教学目标
1. 语言知识
【词汇】复习有关节日活动的词汇。
【句子】复习问答有关节日活动的句型。
【篇章】读有关Wu Yifan复活节聚会的请柬;读相关回函的小册子。
2.语言技能
学生能用学到的语言知识就相关节日活动进行交流。
学生能对收到的请柬做出书面的回应。
学生能看懂请柬,并能回答相关问题,写出简单的生日聚会请柬。
3.学习策略
以小组合作学习的方式引导学生归纳有关Easter party活动的词组。
通过反复操练的形式自主学习的学习态度,掌握拓展学习的方法,注意归纳所学语言的归律,并能举一反三,灵活地运用规律。
熟练运用本课时所学内容制定各种节日活动请柬。
4.情感态度
学生能够对英语课堂感兴趣,积极参加各种活动。
增强学生的民族意识,培养学生尊重民族文化、热爱传统节日活动。
5.文化意识
了解西方Easter的来历,及西方人怎样过Easter.
三、教学过程
Step1:Warm-up
1. Greetings
T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you today? Let’s listen to music

Step2:Presentation
T: Boys and girls, there are two Days left, look at the school calendar carefully, find them and tell me. (After Some of Ss tell the right answers: Easter and Christmas。)
T: Yes, you are right. They are Easter and Christmas left. Boys and girls, can you tell us something about Christmas? (Maybe some students can say: Christmas is Jesus Christ’s birthday or maybe not.)
The teacher continues to say: Jesus Christ is a great man. After he died seven days, he relived. That day is called Easter. Today we will talk about Easter.
(设计意图:教师通过school calendar先引出Christmas,再引出Easter,不仅仅让学生了解两个西方节日之间的联系,更重要的是呈现本课时的主题Easter.)

1. T: My birthday is in May. I want to have a birthday party. What will you do if you have a birthday party? Dance? Play games? Make a wish? Sing the birthday song? Eat noodles or a birthday cake? (教师一边说一边在PPT上呈现图片和相关单词)
2. Teach the words about birthday party.
T: Read after me.
3. Write three sentences like this: I will…
T: Now, please write three sentences if you have a birthday party. You can write like this: I will …
4.The students make their own birthday party invitations and fill in their worksheets.
T: My birthday is coming. I decide to have a birthday party. I have made my own birthday invitation. Look! Here is it. Boys and girls, can you design your own birthday party invitation?
Ss: Yes.
T: Take the paper like this. Do it now.
