This article describes a six degree-of-freedom hybrid simulation of a high-speed anti-radiation missile (HARM). This simulation is produced as part of HARM’s Software Development Facility (SDF) and includes aerodynamic and moment equations, rigid projectile motion equations, coordinate transformation equations, atmospheric models, missile thrust models, mass and inertial characteristics, and Seeker and autopilot guidance. Provide a variety of special inputs, such as seeker error, cross-coupling, thrust eccentricity and center of gravity deviation. Initially, simulations were used to conduct research and validation of guidance software. However, since the simulation is run in real time, it also provides a convenient means for missile hardware inspection.
