Around the 17th century, due to the rapid development of overseas trade, a unified world market system was gradually established. Especially in East Asia, Sino-Japanese overseas trade during this period is an extremely important international trade. However, from an economic point of view, the volume of silk and copper trade between China and Japan is too large. As a result, a large amount of silver in Japan enters the Chinese market, which has a huge impact on China’s economic development; from the perspective of policy analysis, since the Ming Dynasty After the cancellation of tributary relations with Japan, the two did not establish official exchanges. However, after entering the Qing Dynasty, Japan was no longer within the scope of the tributary system. Therefore, Sino-Japanese trade is the only way to maintain Sino-Japanese relations. Therefore, the significance of Sino-Japanese trade is very important. This paper mainly discusses and defines the concepts and research significance of Sino-Japanese trade, trade policies, trade channels, and the impact on Sino-Japanese trade.
