目前,对非英语专业大学生词汇的研究局限在词汇习得策略和大学生课程改革的方向上,但缺乏大学英语教材词汇与学生的实际需要的考试词汇的对比研究。本文以非英语专业大学生英语教材词汇量与四类英语水平能力测试的词汇量重合度为切入点,通过hash算法科学统计了大学英语教材的词汇与大学生主要参加的英语水平测试(四级、六级、托福、雅思)的词汇重合度数据,结论是大学英语词汇量与此四类考试词汇重合度较高,与六级的重合度高达70.8%,与雅思的重合度高达65.5%。本研究旨在提高大学生对学习大学英语教材的重视程度,希望能激发学生对大学英语学习的热情,同时为大学英语习得策略教学方向带来一点启示。
At present, the research on vocabulary of non-English majors is confined to vocabulary acquisition strategies and the reform of undergraduates’ curriculums. However, there is a lack of contrast between the vocabulary of college English textbooks and the actual needs of students. Based on the concordance of vocabulary between English majors in non-English majors and four levels of English proficiency test, the vocabulary of college English textbooks and English proficiency tests of college students (four levels, six levels) Level, TOEFL, IELTS) vocabulary concordance data, the conclusion is that college English vocabulary and the four exam vocabulary higher degree of coincidence, with the six degrees of coincidence of up to 70.8%, and IELTS coincidence of up to 65.5%. The purpose of this study is to improve college students ’emphasis on learning English teaching materials, hoping to arouse students’ enthusiasm for college English learning and bring some enlightenment to college English learning strategy teaching.
