宝中铁路 (宝鸡———中卫 )是90年代初期国家重点工程项目。在宁夏回族自治区境内的中宁南站至中卫县宣和镇一线 ,间断性地出现 3处长约 3km的流沙或沙地 ,流沙经常上道掩埋铁轨 ,严重阻扰着列车的安全运营。采用植物固沙措施 ,选用沙枣、柠条、花棒等耐旱树种营造了 19 47hm2 的防沙护路林带 ,造林 4年后沙枣保存率达 87 2 %、柠条93 8%、花棒 84 5% ;在灰钙土、沙土、棕钙土上造林保存率和生长量明显高于白僵土、石砾地 ;每公顷年浇水量以 2 2 50m3较适宜 ;林带可削弱风速的 30 %以上。目前已无流沙上道为害铁路 ,起到了良好的防风固沙效果 ,保障了列车的安全营运
Baozhong Railway (Baoji - Zhongwei) is the early 90s national key projects.
