Lieutenant Colonel SC Colin of the United States Navy’s “Bbridge ” missile destroyer, said that hunting thunder was one of the most important but most unattractive tasks in the Navy. He introduced a method of accomplishing this New method for important tasks. Such systems in the U.S. Navy are Remote Ray Detection Systems (RMS) that can be deployed on Arleigh Burkle’s Aegis missile destroyers. Destroyer equipped with DDG-RMS with aircraft carriers and expeditionary strike groups can reach the minefield in time for group search and detection without the need of professional anti-waterpower troops. The main component of the remote mine detection system is the Remote Mine Detection (RMV). The RMV is a semi-submersible, semi-autonomous, unmanned aerial vehicle whose towed deep sonar detects, locates, classifies and identifies underwater threats at safe distances to ships in friendly nations. It utilizes advanced communications equipment and software integrated into the Aegis combat system through the remote hunting function section of the SQQ89V15 anti-submarine warfare suite. The RMV connected to the variable sonar transmits real-time mine-hunting sonar images to the destroyers via the data link system. In this way, the destroyer, the aircraft carrier and the expeditionary strike group can grasp the situation in the sea area and ensure the safety of the flock.
