《幼儿园教育指导纲要》中把幼儿早期阅读正式纳入幼儿园语言教育的目标体系,提出“培养幼儿对生活中常见的简单标记和文字符号的兴趣,培养幼儿阅读和书写技能”。《3-6岁儿童学习与发展指南》中也明确规定:为幼儿提供丰富、适宜的低幼读物,经常和幼儿一起看图书、讲故事,丰富其语言表达能力,培养阅读兴趣和良好的阅读习惯,进一步拓展学习经验。这些都充分体现了幼儿早期阅读的重要性,体现了幼儿教育对幼儿早期阅读
