HIV感染会并发多种神经病和神经精神病,包括识别性并发症,痴呆,脱髓鞘病,HIV相关性脑病,无菌性脑膜炎,颅及外周性神经病。这些并发症不完全是由再次感染所致。以往的研究表明10%的HIV感染者早期出现神经精神性并发症,其中40%病情会加重,尸检结果表明约75%有中枢神经系统的神经病变。血流动力学研究表明AIDS和AIDS相关综合征患者的自主性反应减弱。
HIV infection is associated with a variety of neuropathies and neuropsychiatric disorders, including identifying complications, dementia, demyelinating disease, HIV-associated encephalopathy, aseptic meningitis, and cranial and peripheral neuropathy. These complications are not entirely caused by re-infection. Previous studies showed that early onset of neuropsychiatric complications in 10% of HIV-infected patients, 40% of them exacerbated, autopsy findings showed that about 75% of central nervous system neuropathy. Hemodynamic studies showed weakened autonomy in patients with AIDS and AIDS-related syndromes.
