新生C3H/St,C3H/HeJ、C57Br/cdj、CBA/N、 AKR/J和BALB/kae裸鼠用60个空斑形成单位(PFU)的淋巴细胞脉络丛脑膜炎病毒(LCMV)Armstrong 1371株脑内接种感染后5~7天,动物有明显的体重减轻和体长不足症状.感染小鼠的垂体有病毒抗原,但垂体的显微结构正常。采用抗LCMV多肽的单克隆抗体,作者证明病毒的复制限于垂体腺前叶.双荧光色素技术[一种染料使LCMV核蛋白染色,另一种染料可使生长激素(GH)或催乳激素(PL)染色]表明,LCMV主要在生产GH的细胞中复制,而不在生产PL的细胞中复制。其它研究也表明,LCMV不能在生产甲状腺刺激素或促肾上腺皮质激素的细胞中复制。GH的两种主要作用是调节生长和葡萄糖代谢。
A total of 60 plaque-forming units (PFU) of Lymphocytic Choriomeningitis Virus (LCMV) Armstrong 1371 strain were obtained from neonatal C3H / St, C3H / HeJ, C57Br / cdj, CBA / N, AKR / J and BALB / 5 to 7 days after inoculation in the brain, the animals have obvious symptoms of weight loss and body length deficiency.The infected pituitary has a viral antigen, but the pituitary microstructure is normal. Using monoclonal antibodies against LCMV peptides, the authors demonstrated that viral replication is limited to the anterior pituitary gland. Dual-Fluorochrome Technology [One dye stains the LCMV nucleoprotein and the other dye allows growth hormone (GH) or prolactin (PL) ) Staining] showed that LCMV replicates primarily in GH-producing cells but not in PL-producing cells. Other studies have also shown that LCMV can not replicate in thyroid stimulating hormone or adrenocorticotropic hormone-producing cells. The two main roles of GH are to regulate growth and glucose metabolism.
