Soybean is the best prior crop of gramineous crops, which can adapt to the arid and infertile natural environment in the hilly Loess Plateau of Shanxi Province and occupy an important position in the local agricultural production. In 1981-1984, we conducted a comprehensive study of soybean cultivation techniques in the Loess Hilly Area of western Shanxi Province.
