Objective To study the long-term intelligent effects of breast-less jaundice in children without risk factors and to guide the clinical treatment of breast-milk jaundice. Methods There were 60 cases of breast milk jaundice without risk factors, divided into two groups, one group of 29 cases, stop breastfeeding, change artificial feeding, record jaundice subsided time; a group of 31 cases, stop breastfeeding, change artificial feeding, Oral administration of complementary drugs such as comprehensive treatment; then take no hyperbilirubinemia control group of 45 cases. The same follow-up and early education were performed in 3 groups of infants. At the age of 1, intelligent tests were performed by professionals and the CDCC was used to measure the mental development index (MDI) and motor development index (PDI). Results There was no significant difference in the intelligence of three groups of children at the age of one year. None of the three groups showed abnormal hearing of the language. Conclusion Breast milk jaundice without risk factors has little effect on long-term intelligence, which can appropriately relax the indications for treatment of jaundice.
