统一于党性之下的真实性、战斗性、指导性、群众性、党性,历来是我国新闻工作的重要原则,有“五性一统”之称。“五性一统”原则是由我国新闻事业作为党和人民喉舌的根本性质所决定的。但是,随着社会主义市场经济的提出,计划经济体制下公民利益一体化的格局打破了,市场经济承认并保护不同利益群体的存在。这样,一方面,各个不同的利益群体对新闻媒介有着不同的信息和舆论诉求;另一方面,新闻媒介又因自身产业性质越来越关注经济利益。错综复杂的利益需求难免产生冲突,置身于各种利益冲突之中的新闻媒介,如何保持自身的品位,如何在激烈的竞争中谋求生存和发展,又如何兼顾社会上不同利益群体的需求,成为当前新闻工作新的课题。认为“五性一统”原则在社会主义市场经济条件下已经过时的看法是极其有害的;但照搬计划经济体制下“五性一统”的具体做法也不合时宜。本文拟对“五性一统”原则作新的探讨,正是基于新形势的需要。
The authenticity, combatability, guidance, massness and party spirit unified under the party spirit have always been the important principles of our journalism work and are called “five personality unification”. The principle of “five-nation unity” is determined by the fundamental nature of our journalism as the voice of the party and the people. However, with the introduction of the socialist market economy, the pattern of the integration of citizen interests under the planned economy has been broken, and the market economy has acknowledged and protected the existence of different interest groups. In this way, on the one hand, different interest groups have different media and public opinion demands on the news media; on the other hand, the news media are increasingly paying attention to economic interests due to the nature of their industries. Intricate interests inevitably lead to conflicts of interest, exposure to various conflicts of interest among the news media, how to maintain their own taste, how to survive in the fierce competition and development, how to take into account the needs of different social groups, become the current News work new topics. It is extremely harmful to think that the principle of “five-nation integration” has become outdated under the conditions of a socialist market economy. However, it is out-of-date to copy the “five-state unification” approach under the planned economy. This article intends to make a new discussion on the principle of “five-nation unification” precisely based on the needs of the new situation.
