Objective: To observe the changes of cardiopulmonary function related indicators and AMS of Antarctic expedition team members in the Antarctic plateau environment, and provide scientific basis for the medical insurance inspected at Antarctica Kunlun Station. Methods: The team members were tested for changes of respiration, heart rate, oxygen saturation and AMS in the inland plateau of Antarctica. AMS was determined according to the Lake Louise Consensus (LLSS) score and decision method of acute altitude sickness symptom. Results: With the elevation of the altitude gradient, the Lake Louise Consensus (LLSS) score increased and the number of symptoms increased, and frostbite, UVB burns, cough, abdominal pain and diarrhea and other plateau-related problems occurred. Conclusion: Under the harsh natural environment in Antarctic Dome A area, cold and hypoxia are the biggest problems facing team members. Prevention and treatment of AMS is the main mission of team doctor.
