众所周知,汽油机凸轮轴齿轮与机油泵传动齿轮相共轭,以驱动油泵和分电器进行工作。由于结构和使用要求,汽油机凸轮轴齿轮被布置在凸轮轴的中部,两边分别布置着一个进气凸轮。该齿轮半径较小,通常比两侧进气凸轮的最大向径还小。且两侧凸轮离开齿轮的轴向间距尺寸也较小。因此,切齿方法只能是滚齿,而且只能采用径向进给滚切。该法所用机床为专机或具有径向进给的普通滚齿机;刀具也不是一般的滚刀。本文的任务就是介绍这种特殊滚刀的设计方法。
