荆条(Vitex negundo var.incisa),又名荆梢,马鞭草科,荆属,落叶灌木,在我国北方的辽宁、河北、山东、河南、山西、陕西、内蒙等地均有分布。 一、形态特征 荆条为落叶灌木,高1～2米。幼枝方形,密被黄褐色绒毛,侧芽2个紧密迭生,密被灰黄色毛;维管束痕半圆形,掌状复叶对生,通常5(或3～7)片小叶,小叶披针形或卵状披针形,长3～10厘米,叶缘为刻状大锯齿,或羽状深裂,表面绿色有细毛,背面灰白色,有细绒毛密生。花淡紫色,花枝长10～20厘米,小核果,萼片宿存。
