厦门位于福建省长（乐）绍（安）地震带的中南段，该带由4条北东向断裂组成，其中主干断裂：长乐一惠安一东山断裂经过厦门近海与东西向的漳州一厦门断裂在金门岛外侧交汇。厦门本岛上有次一级的较清晰可见的5条断裂存在。厦门地区的地震监测手段就是基于对这一地区的地震地质
Xiamen is located in the middle section of the Fujian province governor (music) Shao (An) seismic belt, which is composed of 4 NE-trending faults. The main faults include Changle-Hui’an-Dongshan fault passing Xiamen offshore and east-west Zhangzhou-Xiamen Fracture intersection outside Kinmen Island. There are 5 secondary faults clearly visible on the island of Xiamen. Earthquake monitoring in Xiamen is based on seismic geology in this area
