城市是由具有预设功能的建筑物(包括住宅、写字楼和市政设施)和公共开放空间(如街道、公园、广场等)组成的实空集合,有一定的以行政区划、地产及技术标准等规制的地域边界。城市依赖技术而存在,技术是城市存在和发展的生命线。城市的基本构架由工程活动来实现,以工程形态展现于世,这当属城市之显著的对象性存在特征,城市的存在意义及存在论境域规制了城市演化的范围和空间。本文从工程哲学视角探讨了空间、技术与工程对于城市演化之发展动力及方向,阐明了城市作为工程化了的对象性存在而受到工程哲学关注的必然性。
Cities are real-world collections of buildings (including residential buildings, office buildings and municipal facilities) and public open spaces (such as streets, parks, squares, etc.) with preset functions.
