骨保护素是肿瘤坏死因子受体超家族成员,主要通过与细胞核因子-κB受体活化因子配体竞争性地结合细胞核因子-κB受体活化因子,从而拮抗其所介导的生物学效应。骨保护素在骨代谢、免疫炎症反应、心血管系统等多个领域起着重要的调控作用,并成为研究的热点,现将其在这些方面的研究进展进行总结。
Osteoprotegerin, a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, antagonizes the biological effects mediated by its binding to the nuclear factor-kappa B receptor activator, primarily by binding to the nuclear factor-kappa B receptor activating factor ligand. Osteoprotegerin plays an important regulatory role in many fields, such as bone metabolism, immune and inflammatory reaction, and cardiovascular system, and has become a hot research area. Now its research progress in these aspects are summarized.
