在当代,中国风景油画家积极致力于在传统和现代、中国和西方之间寻找自己的位置,发展个性,形成风格,意象风景油画就是其中特别值得关注的艺术现象。意象风景油画既具有中国传统美学所要求的意境,又具有西画特点。这是中西方艺术融合的尝试,也揭开了用西方油画的语言体系来表现具有中国文化特质的思想内容的序幕。意象风景油画的出现寓示着油画是世界性的语言,中国油画不能在狭隘的民族意识和闭关自守的环境中发展。
In the contemporary era, Chinese landscape painters actively devoted themselves to finding their own position, developing their own personality, forming style and imagery landscapes between the traditional and the modern, between China and the West, which is an art phenomenon of particular concern. Imagery oil painting not only has the artistic conception required by Chinese traditional aesthetics, but also has the characteristics of Western painting. This is an attempt to integrate Chinese and Western art, and also opens the prelude to expressing the ideological content of Chinese culture with the language system of Western oil painting. The emergence of the image landscape oil painting shows that oil painting is a worldwide language. Chinese oil painting can not develop in a narrow national consciousness and a closed environment.
