This article aims to evaluate the value of magnesium sulfate in the treatment of neonatal tetany. The authors collected 104 symptomatic infants with hypocalcemia. These infants were delivered on full term and were fed artificially with whole-fat evaporated milk. Symptoms are occurring within 4 to 8 days after birth. Subjects were randomly divided into three groups for treatment.
