在常规饲养条件下,家鱼养殖池混养400—500尾/亩兰鳃太阳鱼,可产兰鳃太阳鱼约50公斤/亩,增加产量6—7％。对家鱼的生长和产量没有多大影响,并可控制野杂鱼。
