末端电磁搅拌对铸坯中心质量改善起到了重要作用,而安装位置则是末端电磁搅拌发挥作用的基础。在生产过程中,末端电磁搅拌需安装在未凝固率为25%~35%的位置,往往通过射钉试验来确定。在高碳钢射钉试验时,钢钉往往不能熔化,造成固液相区难以区分,安装位置不准确。通过寻找一种合适材料制作成钢钉,并成功在高碳钢射钉试验中使用,取得了良好效果。
