Many researchers use the inner ear immune response induced experimental endolymphatic hydrops. The method is usually injected antigen into the middle ear or styloid. Stem milk-hole antigen injection method is indeed an effective method of inducing hydronephrosis, but at the same time there is a clear precipitation in the perilymph, indicating the existence of serous labyrinthitis. This type of hydrops is pathologically different from that of Meninges disease. The authors attempted to use horseradish peroxidase (HRP) as an antigen to infuse into the endolymphatic sac of guinea pigs that have been sensitized to see if it can induce endolymphatic hydrops without causing an inflammatory response to the perilymph space.
