Since the early days of the twentieth century, popular expressionist paintings began to be popular. At the time of social turmoil, the people at the bottom of society struggled spiritually and physically. Many of the painters of expressionist paintings were at the bottom of the society and felt empowered by the conditions of the bottom of society. Meanwhile, They were also influenced by some philosophers such as Freud, who tried their best to resist the dark community for the people. Painters hope to use their own brush to show the darkness of society, the subtle struggles at the bottom of society, the sentimental atmosphere full of works to alert people to look at the world and hoping it will come to an end quickly. One of the most iconic painters of the time was James Ensor, who portrayed the inner feelings of the time in his own highly stimulating and individualistic drawing language, so that we had to analyze his inspiring and thrilling work.
