脏器生化药物是指从动物的组织、器官、腺体、体液、分泌物中提取用于防治疾病的物质,是生化药物的重要组成部分。通常包括氨基酸、多肽、蛋白质、核酸及其降解产物、酶、辅酶、维生素、激素、多糖与脂类等。这类药物在机体内能起重要的生理作用。当机体由于内外环境的改变而发生新陈代谢异常,酶催化作用失控,免疫功能低下,基因表达调控失调,激素分泌紊乱,导致患病时,脏器生化药物有可能起到调整、抑制或增强机体的生理、生化及免疫功能;也可以通过补充或替代机体代谢所需的物质,从而发挥其防治疾病的作用。由于脏器生化药物得自动物脏器,因此,它往往具有疗效好、针对性强,毒性低、副作用小等优点。因而在常见病、多发病的防治中,发挥着重要作用。脏器生化药物是经过直接采用动物的整个脏器,到作某些加工的脏器制剂,逐渐发展为采用各种生化方法加以分离提取的。目前脏器生化药物的主要动物来源是猪、牛、
