曾发现大蒜汁对胆固醇引起的家兔高胆固醇血症和动脉粥样硬化有抑制作用。本文报道了大蒜油对喂饲胆固醇家兔的影响。大蒜油的制备:将大蒜头捣烂取汁,用乙醚提取汁中的大蒜油。取1~1.5kg 体重雄性白兔16只,分为4组。每天每只给胆固醇2g(溶于5ml 橄榄油,混于饲料中)。一组作为对照,另三组饲料中分别加入0.25g,0.5g,1.0g 大蒜油,共给药16周。于实验开始及每隔4周由耳静脉或心脏穿刺取血,测血清总胆固醇和游离胆固醇(FG)。实验结束时,处死动物,测其主动脉及肝脏中胆固醇含量,肉眼和显微检查主动脉病变程度(病变程度按 Horlick 等分为4级)。
It has been found that garlic juice inhibits cholesterol-induced hypercholesterolemia and atherosclerosis in rabbits. This article reports the effect of garlic oil on feeding cholesterol rabbits. Preparation of Garlic Oil: The garlic head was smashed and the garlic oil in the juice was extracted with ether. Take 1 to 1.5kg weight male white rabbits, divided into 4 groups. Cholesterol 2g per day (dissolved in 5ml olive oil, mixed in feed). One group was used as a control, and the other three groups were fed with 0.25 g, 0.5 g, and 1.0 g garlic oil respectively for 16 weeks. At the beginning of the experiment and every 4 weeks blood was taken from the ear vein or cardiac puncture to measure serum total cholesterol and free cholesterol (FG). At the end of the experiment, animals were sacrificed and their cholesterol levels in the aorta and liver were measured, and aortic lesions were visually and microscopically examined (the lesions were graded according to Horlick’s score of 4).
