The new generation of armored combat vehicles, jointly developed by the Singapore Defense Technology Agency, the Singapore Technology Dynamics Corporation and the Technical Systems Terrestrial Systems Division, is expected to enhance Singapore’s armored combat capabilities such as firepower, protection, mobility and situational awareness. In July 2016, the company disclosed unmanned vehicle prototypes of a new generation of armored combat vehicles. In addition, the infantry fighting vehicle model will be available in 2019 to replace the active M113A2 upgraded armored vehicle.
