30年前,大学毕业,我就投身于种子行业,风风雨雨,历尽艰辛……1978～1981年,连续4年奔赴海南繁制杂交水稻种子,既当指挥员,也是战斗员。4年繁制杂交种子均获丰收,对促进地、县粮食增产起了重要作用。受到地、县的表彰和奖励.在我大半生种子工作生涯中,最使我难忘的是1985年离休以后引进推广新红宝西瓜良种一段经历:
