中小学英语教学应该充分利用学生善于模仿、乐于参加学习语言的活动等有利条件,并把培养学生的全面发展与之自然地结合起来。针对中小学生身心发展的特点提出的“戏剧化活动”正符合“以学生为中心”的教育观念,强调寓教于乐,面向全体学生。课堂“戏剧化活动”有趣味性强、情景主题鲜明、语言实践机会多等特点,有助于学生灵活掌握外语技能并加以运用,培养了学生的实际交际能力。这种课堂英语教学方式体现了生动性、趣味性和有效性,符合语言学习的自然规律和我国教育改革中提倡素质教育的要求。
English teaching in primary and secondary schools should make full use of favorable conditions such as students’ good at imitating and willingness to participate in language learning activities, and naturally combine the development of students’ comprehensive development. The “dramidization activities” proposed for the physical and psychological development of primary and middle school students are in line with the “student-centered” educational concept, emphasizing entertaining and facing all students. The “drama activity” in the classroom is characterized by strong interest, distinct theme, and many opportunities for language practice, which helps students to master foreign language skills flexibly and apply them, and cultivates students’ practical communicative competence. This kind of classroom English teaching reflects vividness, interest, and effectiveness, conforms to the natural laws of language learning and calls for quality education in the education reform in China.
