目的检测M2型巨噬细胞在食管鳞状细胞癌(ESCC)中浸润和患者预后及临床病理参数的相关性。方法应用免疫组织化学Envision二步法检测M2型巨噬细胞在ESCC及癌旁正常组织中的浸润。结果食管癌组织中CD163阳性M2型巨噬细胞浸润率明显高于癌旁组织,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。CD163阳性M2型巨噬细胞浸润与肿瘤淋巴结转移及T分期明显相关(P<0.05);与性别、年龄、肿瘤大小和临床分期无明显相关性(P>0.05)。生存分析结果显示,CD163阳性M2型巨噬细胞浸润与患者预后明显相关(P<0.05)。结论CD163阳性M2型巨噬细胞浸润与ESCC淋巴结转移及T分期有关,且影响患者预后,其细胞浸润可能作为判断ESCC预后的指标。
Objective To investigate the relationship between the infiltration of M2 macrophages in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and the prognosis and clinical pathological parameters. Methods Immunohistochemistry Envision two-step method was used to detect the infiltration of M2 macrophages in ESCC and adjacent normal tissues. Results The infiltration rate of CD163 positive type M2 macrophages in esophageal cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissues, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). The infiltration of CD163 positive type M2 macrophages was significantly correlated with tumor lymph node metastasis and T stage (P <0.05), but not with sex, age, tumor size and clinical stage (P> 0.05). Survival analysis showed that the infiltration of CD163-positive M2 macrophages was significantly associated with the prognosis of patients (P <0.05). Conclusion The infiltration of CD163 positive M2 macrophages is related to the lymph node metastasis and T stage of ESCC, and affects the prognosis of patients. The infiltration of CD163 positive M2 macrophages may be used as an index to judge the prognosis of ESCC.
