水稻新品种辽星9号是辽宁省稻作研究所于1995年选用辽粳294和辽粳454作亲本,经过人工杂交系统选育而成。辽星9号继承了亲本辽粳454(辽宁省主栽品种)的高产优势,发展了亲本辽粳294(辽宁省主栽品种)优质的性状,抗性和适应性增强,实现了优质、多抗、高产、高效的统一。2002～2003
LiaoXing 9, a new rice variety, was selected from LiaoJing 294 and LiaoJing 454 as parents by Liaoning Institute of Rice Research in 1995 and was bred by artificial hybridization system.
